Cricket in Commonwealth Games 2022 : Complete Schedule, Match Timings, streaming Details, Participating Nations
Cricket will make it first appearance in The Commonwealth Games this year which is said to take place in Birmingham, England. The top 8 countries are set to field their women’s teams for the medals fight. Total of 16 matches will be played in the T20 format. The participating teams are India, Australia, England, Pakistan, New Zealand, South Africa, Barbados and Sri Lanka. The tournament will commence on July 29, 2022 in the round robin format.
India are placed along side with Australia, Barbados and Pakistan in the group A while New Zealand, England, South Africa and Sri Lanka are in the group B.

The top two teams from each group will proceed to the semi finals. The winners of the semifinals will play for the gold medal while the losers will fight for the bronze medal.
All the matches of the Commonwealth Games will be hosted by the Edgbaston Cricket Ground. The gold medal and bronze medal matches are scheduled to take place on 7th August, 2022.
