The 2025-2027 ICC World Test Championship is the fourth edition of Test cricket's biggest competition. The championship, featuring nine top teams, is based on a league format, with each team playing six series. The top two teams will compete for the coveted World Test Championship title in the final to be held at Lord's in 2027.
Format
The format of the tournament will be the same as previous editions. The league stage will have 27 series and 71 matches. Each team will play six series—three at home and three away. These series will have two to five Test matches. The top two teams in the points table will qualify for the final.
