Yesterday the final match of IPL season 16 was played between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans. Chennai won this match by 5 wickets and won the IPL season 16 trophy. In this last match, Jio Cinema, the digital streaming partner of Tata IPL, created a unique record. In fact, more than 3.2 crore people joined live on Jio Cinema to watch the last match yesterday and the company recorded a huge number in terms of live viewership.
In the earlier qualifier match, Jio Cinema achieved a record live viewership of 2.57 crores. This match was played between Gujarat and Mumbai in which Shubman Gill played a brilliant inning of 129 runs.
