Julana Election 2024: Vinesh Phogat Election Result

Julana Election 2024: Wrestler Vinesh Phogat has won the assembly elections. Congress had given Vinesh a ticket from Julana. She has defeated BJP's Yogesh Kumar. Vinesh participated for India in the Paris Olympics. She reached the final of the 50 kg category. The whole country was expecting a gold medal. But before the final, Vinesh's weight was 100 grams more and due to this she was disqualified.

Counting of votes for Haryana assembly elections has been completed. All eyes were on Julana, the hottest seat in the state, from where Congress had fielded Olympian Vinesh Phogat. Vinesh Phogat has won this seat. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had fielded Yogesh Bairagi from here. Last time Amarjeet had won this seat by defeating the BJP candidate. This year there has been bumper voting on this seat.

Counting of all 15 rounds has been completed on Julana seat. Vinesh Phogat has won the first election by 6015 votes. At the same time, BJP's Yogesh Kumar stood second with 59065 votes. Vinosh got 65080 votes in this election.

Bajrang Punia congratulated for the victory

After the Paris Olympics, Bajrang Punia also joined the Congress along with Vinesh Phogat. Bajrang won a medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. After Vinesh's victory, he wrote on the social media platform Instagram, 'Many congratulations to the country's daughter Vinesh Phogat for the victory. This fight was not just for one Julana seat, it was not just with 3-4 other candidates, it was not just a fight between parties. This fight was against the strongest oppressive forces of the country. And Vinesh was the winner in this.'
