Lowest score by any team in Test history

New Zealand holds the record for the lowest score in Test cricket, when they made just 26 against England at Auckland on 25 March 1955. South Africa holds the record for the lowest score in Test cricket, when they made just 30 against England at Gqebarha on 13 February 1896.

Sri Lanka were bowled out for 42 against South Africa at Durban on 27 November 2024.
