3 players who scored the most raid points in Pro Kabaddi League: When the Pro Kabaddi League started in 2014, hardly anyone would have thought that a desi game like Kabaddi would become so popular. However, recently the 11th season of the league has been successfully concluded. With 11 consecutive seasons, it is clearly visible that the popularity of this league is increasing season after season. PKL added a tadka of glamour to the desi game Kabaddi, due to which this game gained popularity not only in the country but also abroad. The most successful raider of PKL is Pardeep Narwal who has scored 1801 raid points in 190 matches. Pardeep has many records as a raider in PKL and some of them are such that it will not be easy for anyone to break them. Pardeep has made Patna Pirates champion three times. Out of these, in the fifth season, he took 369 raid points which is the highest number of points scored by any raider in a season till date.
PKL second most successful raider Maninder Singh has been a part of Bengal Warriors for a long time and is also the most reliable player of this team. Maninder has shown his best game in every season and is the second raider to score 1500 or more rate points in the league history. Maninder has scored 1528 raid points in 158 matches played so far.
The first three seasons were not very good for Pawan Sehrawat, who made his PKL debut with Bengaluru Bulls in the third season. He played the fifth season for Gujarat Giants. However, he returned to Bengaluru in the sixth season and his game changed from there. Pawan made Bengaluru champions for the first time by scoring 282 points. In the next two seasons, he scored more than 300 points consistently and was the best raider in the league.
In the ninth season, Pawan was ruled out in the first match of the season due to injury. Despite missing the entire season due to injury and having a very bad first three seasons, Pawan has so far scored 1318 points in raids in 139 matches.
