Gandhi was born in 1869 and killed in 1948 for being too friendly to Muslims during India's partition. Gandhi was an anti-colonial patriot, lawyer, and political ethicist. He associated with peasants and attempted to live simply. Gandhi's beginnings were far from wonderful! Ambedkar, an Indian lawyer, economist, politician, and social reformer who battled against societal injustice against the Untouchables (Dalits) in India, inspired the Dalit Buddhist Movement. People also refer to him as Babasaheb. Ambedkar was the principal architect of the Indian Constitution as well as the country's first minister of law upon independence.
Ambedkar was reared by untouchables (also known as Dalits at the time). He was born into a community that faced varied degrees of socioeconomic difficulty due to their exclusion from Hinduism's caste system, and as a result, he was prejudiced from an early age.

J. R. D. Tata founded the Tata Group of Companies in 1868 and ruled over it from 1932 to 1938, 1940 to 1953, and 1957 to 1988. His father had flown to Paris, France, to give birth to him on December 28, 1904. He died on November 29, 1993, at the age of 88, in Mumbai, India, of a persistent illness.
Tata is well-known for founding Tata Airlines (now Air India), India's first commercial airline, and Air India International, Asia's first steel mill (which later became Vistara). In 1971, the Royal Aeronautical Society in the United Kingdom acknowledged him for his pioneering contributions to the development of civil aviation by inducting him as the first Indian into the International Air & Space Hall of Fame.

Kalpana Chawla made history by being the first woman of Indian heritage to travel to space! She was also the first female student at Punjab Engineering College to pursue aeronautical engineering. She was named a national hero in India and received the Congressional Space Medal of Honor for her achievements.
Chawla was onboard the Space Shuttle Colombia in 1997, which cost her and the other six crew members aboard their lives. During its re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere, the spacecraft was destroyed.
Kalpana Chawla was a licensed commercial pilot who flew seaplanes, multi-engine aircraft, and gliders. She was also a trained glider and aeroplane flight instructor. Today, buildings, streets, and organizations are named in her honour.

From 1988 till his retirement from professional cricket in 2013, Tendulkar was a member of the Mumbai team. In recognition of his services to Indian cricket and athletics, he was awarded the Bharat Ratna.
In addition, he holds the record for the most runs ever scored by an individual in test cricket (14927 runs), becoming the first male cricket player to reach 200 in one-day internationals (ODIs).
