In the IPL Auction 2023 uncapped Indian players, Shivam Mavi was bought by GT for Rs 6 crore, Mukesh Kumar by DC for Rs 5.5 crore and Vivant Sharma was bought by SRH for Rs 2.6 crore.
The IPL 2023 auction ended on 23 December in Kochi. Sam Curran of England became the costliest player in the history of IPL auction. Punjab Kings spent Rs 18.5 crore to buy the all-rounder. Mumbai Indians spent Rs 17.5 crore to buy Australian all-rounder Cameron Green. Chennai Super Kings added Ben Stokes to their team for 16.25 crores.
Lucknow Super Giants bid 16 crores on Nicholas Pooran. Sunrisers Hyderabad strengthened their squad by buying Harry Brook for Rs 13.25 crore. Former Punjab Kings captain Mayank Agarwal was also bought by SRH for 8.25 crores.
Among the uncapped Indian players, Shivam Mavi was bought by GT for Rs 6 crore, Mukesh Kumar by DC for Rs 5.5 crore and Vivrant Sharma by SRH for Rs 2.6 crore. Initially unsold, Joe Root, Rilee Rossouw, Adam Zampa and Shakib Al Hasan were selected in the quick auction.
