IPL 2023 - Delhi Capitals replaced Aman Khan in place of Shardul Thakur

Shardul Thakur was bought by the Delhi team for Rs 10.75 crore. He took 15 wickets in 14 matches in IPL 2022, which included career-best figures of four for 36. However, he had scored runs at an average of 10 runs per over during this period. With the bat, he scored 120 runs at an average of 10.81 and a strike rate of 137.93.

IPL organizers said in a statement, “For the upcoming Tata IPL 2023, Shardul Thakur has been traded from Delhi Capitals to Kolkata Knight Riders. Emerging all-rounder Aman Khan has been traded from Kolkata Knight Riders to Delhi Capitals. “Aman Khan was bought by KKR for Rs 20 lakh.

Aman Khan plays for Mumbai. He has played 5 List A and 14 T20 matches so far. The name of this 25-year-old all-rounder has been two in List A and 4 wickets in T20. This right-handed batsman has scored 153 runs in T20 cricket at a strike rate of 166. Aman's father has played Under-19 cricket for Mumbai.

Aman Khan has played in junior cricket with Shreyas Iyer at Shivaji Park. Aman's father wanted to make him a fast bowler but he was injured in a road accident. Aman made his debut for Mumbai in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy last year. He bowls off spin.
