This 25-year-old player made his debut for the Kolkata team in the last season of IPL. However, he got a chance to play only one match in IPL 2022.
Shardul Thakur was bought by the Delhi team for Rs 10.75 crore. He took 15 wickets in 14 matches in IPL 2022, which included career-best figures of four for 36. However, he had scored runs at an average of 10 runs per over during this period. With the bat, he scored 120 runs at an average of 10.81 and a strike rate of 137.93.
