UP Yoddha has had a mixed start to season 8 of the Pro Kabaddi League. They lost their first match due to a mediocre performance but won their 2nd match by just 1 point against Patna Pirates. Opponents Jaipur Pink Panthers too lost the first match and won the second. They were taken down by the Gujarat defense in the first match but the raiders turned up in the 2nd match and took them to victory. They would be relying on their defenders to step up in this game against Pardeep Narwal and co.
