On Monday, the All-India Senior Selection Committee announced the squads for Indias upcoming series against New Zealand and Bangladesh. After the T20 World Cup, Team India will dive headfirst into the New Zealand series. In New Zealand, they will play three T20Is and three ODIs. The first T20I will take place on November 18, with the second and third taking place on November 20 and 22, respectively. For this white ball tour, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been rested.
In Rohits absence, Hardik Pandya will captain the T20I team against New Zealand, while Shikhar Dhawan will captain the ODI team. Umran Malik has been named to both squads to face the Black Caps, while Shahbaz Ahmed has been named to the ODI squad. However, Dinesh Karthik and Ravichandran Ashwin were left out of the 16-man squad for the T20I series against New Zealand. Rishabh Pant has been named vice-captain for both legs of the New Zealand tour.

I dont know what he has to do more to play in the Indian team.
