IPL 2023 Auction Deadline: The BCCI has set December 15 as the deadline for players to register for the IPL 2023 mini-auction, which will take place on December 23. Despite the fact that certain franchises will be unable to bid due to the remaining purse amount, Sam Curran, Ben Stokes, and Cameron Green are expected to be the main attractions during the IPL 2023 auction.
Along with the English duo, former England Test captain Joe Root has registered for the IPL 2023 auction and is looking for a bidder.
“The deadline for player registration is December 15. We anticipate some top players enrolling. The auction date is currently set for December 23. Were debating some franchises requests to move the date up. However, there are other considerations. We will make a decision only after consulting with all stakeholders.” a BCCI official
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has set December 15, 5 PM as the registration deadline for the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 Auction. All players who wish to participate in the lucrative league must register by December 15 at 5 p.m.

Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants are two new teams that will compete in the Indian Premier League in 2022. They will also participate in the IPL 2023. All ten teams are expected to submit a list of retained players to the Board of Control for Cricket in India by November 15, 2022, after which the India Premier League Auction 2023 will take place for the released players.
For the time being, the auction day in Kochi is December 23. Around 250 players will be auctioned off. Prior to that, players must register for the auction by December 15, 5 PM.
There wont be many big names because the mega auction was only a season ago. Franchises, on the other hand, tend to spend more in mini auctions. Because Ben Stokes, Cameron Green, and Sam Curran are the three biggest names in the auction pool, a bidding war is possible.
Prior to the month of February, two days were set aside for the IPL 2022 mega auctions, which added two new teams to the competition. However, the mini-auction on December 23 will only last one day.
The majority of teams have already assembled their core squads and would like to make any necessary changes before the next season of the Indian Premier League, which will continue to use the current home and away game structure.
