Talking about the match, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won the title by defeating Delhi Capitals by eight wickets in the final match of the Women's Premier League (WPL) on Sunday. Delhi won the toss and batted first and scored 113 runs in 18.3 overs. RCB easily achieved the target by losing two wickets in 19.3 overs. Delhi got a strong start, but after the first wicket fell at the score of 64, the entire team was all out for 49 runs.

Delhi's batsmen succumbed to Bangalore's spin bowling. Shefali Verma scored the highest 44 runs. Apart from this, Meg Lanning played an inning of 23 runs. At the same time, spinners took nine wickets for Bangalore and one wicket (Radha Yadav) fell in the form of run out. Shreyanka Patil took the maximum of four wickets. Whereas, Sophie Molineux got three wickets. Asha Shobhana took two wickets. For Bangalore, Captain Mandhana scored 31 runs and Sophie Divine scored 32 runs. Ellyse Perry remained unbeaten on 35 runs and Richa Ghosh remained unbeaten on 17 runs.
