Ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday called upon opposition MPs to put aside old differences and cooperate in the interest of national development.
Before the start of the budget session of Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Parliament today i.e. on 22 July. During this, PM Modi told some important things about the budget. Also appealed to the opposition parties to cooperate in the interest of national development and overcome old differences. PM Modi said, 'Today is the first Monday of Sawan. An important session is starting on this holy day. I wish the countrymen a happy first Monday of Sawan. Today the monsoon session of Parliament is starting. Today the whole country is considering that this should be a positive session.
Modi said that it is a matter of pride that after 60 years a government has come to power for the third time and will present its first budget for the third time. I am giving a guarantee to the people of the country and our mission is to implement it on the ground. This budget is an important budget of Amrit Kaal. Today's budget will decide the direction of 'Developed India' for the next 5 years of our tenure.
He further said, 'I want to appeal to all the MPs of the country that from January till now we have fought as much as we had to, but now that time has passed, the public has given its verdict. I want to ask everyone that the parties will have to rise above party lines and dedicate themselves to the country and use this dignified platform of Parliament for the next 4.5 years. You can play any game in the election year of January 2029, but till then we should participate for the empowerment of the country, farmers, youth and the country.'
