PV Sindhu was overjoyed after the win:

After the win, PV Sindhu said that I am happy to be back here after two years. I could not play last year due to injury but it feels good to play on home soil again. I was playing against Anmol for the first time and he played well. We both have played together in the Asian Team Championship, so I was confident. This was my first match and I made some mistakes but I am happy with my performance.
