IND vs SA 1st ODI: Rain can disturb the first ODI match

Earlier on Wednesday also, heavy rain had knocked in Lucknow. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain throughout the day in Lucknow on the day of the match i.e. on October 6.

The three-match ODI series between the teams of India and South Africa is going to start from today. But in the meantime, news is coming that it has rained heavily in Lucknow this morning itself. Due to which it is being told that rain can disturb the match. The match will start at 1:30 pm.

Earlier on Wednesday also, heavy rain had knocked in Lucknow. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain throughout the day in Lucknow on the day of the match i.e. on October 6. In such a situation, this ODI match can be affected by rain.

Earlier in the year 2020, due to the Kovid-19 epidemic, the T20 match played in Ikana also had to be canceled. At that time also this match was to be held with South Africa itself. The management of Ekana Stadium says that if there is no rain during the match then there will be no problem.

Stadium owner Uday Sinha told that the drainage system of Ekana Stadium is state-of-the-art and rain water can be taken out of the ground within just 30 minutes to make it playable. For the first time in the Ekana Stadium, the Indian men's cricket team will play an ODI match. Earlier, India has played T20 matches against West Indies and Sri Lanka here.
