The Indian men's hockey team has won the Junior Asia Cup for the sixth time. India had previously won the title in 2004, 2008, 2015, 2023, and 2024; this latest win makes them the most successful team in the tournament's history. Following this achievement, PM Modi also congratulated Team India.

This is how India became the Asian champion
Ajit Yadav, Anmol Ekka, Prabhdeep Singh, and Ashu Maurya scored goals in India's victory. Ajit Yadav gave India the lead in the 9th minute by scoring off a deflection. Captain Anmol Ekka doubled the lead by converting a chance in the 13th minute.
India scored their third goal in the 21st minute, with Prabhdeep Singh finding the back of the net with a brilliant finish. Korea attempted a comeback, but the Indian defense thwarted their efforts. India established a commanding 3-0 lead in the first half.
India scored their fourth goal via a penalty corner. Ashu Maurya found the net in the 50th minute, extending India's lead to 4–0. Korea was awarded a penalty following a foul, and captain Lee Min-hyuk converted it into a goal in the 54th minute.
However, this effort was not enough to stop India. Ultimately, India clinched the Junior Asia Cup title. Following this victory, Hockey India announced rewards for the team members: ₹3 lakh for each player and ₹1.5 lakh for each member of the support staff.
