The Uganda Cricket Team has named a 15-man roster for the forthcoming T20 World Cup 2024. The Cricket Cranes will compete in Group C against the West Indies, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Afghanistan.
Uganda has qualified well and will face hosts West Indies, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Afghanistan in Group C. Brian Masaba will lead the team and be assisted by Riazat Ali Shah. Experience abounds, including 43-year-old Frank Nsubuga, one of the tournament's elders. Uganda's experienced squad hopes to make an impression at the T20 World Cup.

Ugandan cricket player Brian Masaba is now leading his country's squad in the 2024 T20 World Cup. The bowler, who is 32 years old, participated in the 2014 Cricket World Cup qualifier. He was named Uganda's vice-captain for the Division Four of the ICC World Cricket League in 2018.
On May 23, 2019, the cricket player made his debut against Ghana. He was named Uganda's national cricket team's captain ahead of the 2019 Oman Cricket World Cup Challenge League B competition. The bowler has been named the T20 World Cup captain for 2024.
Former first-class cricket player Abhay Sharma was employed by Delhi, Railways, and Rajasthan. He has been coaching fielding for the India A and India Under-19 teams since 2016. He was named the Indian women's national cricket team's fielding coach in 2021.
Abhay Sharma has been the Railways cricket team's coach since 2007. He has held the position for seven years. Sharma was assigned as a coach at the National Cricket Academy after completing his coaching courses in England in batting, fielding, and wicket-keeping.
He was appointed India A's fielding and wicket-keeping coach in 2013. Sharma was hired as the head coach of Himachal Pradesh before the 2014–15 Ranji Trophy. He was appointed the position of fielding coach for the India Under-19 team in 2015. Because of his experience, Abhay Sharma has been named head coach of the Uganda Cricket Team for the 2017 T20 World Cup.

Frank Nsubuga, who is 43 years old, is another member of the squad and will be among the oldest. He is not the only Ugandan player to draw attention lately; all-rounder Alpesh Ramjani, who bowls with spin, is prepared to go on in the same manner that earned him a nomination for the 2023 ICC Men's T20I Cricketer of the Year award. Notable batsmen that can score runs are Riazat Ali Shah and Dinesh Nakrani. Juma Miyaji, a young player, has experience in the U19 World Cup, having participated in the 2022 tournament in the West Indies.
