IPL 2022 Award Winners List
Gujarat Titans, playing their first IPL, became the champion by defeating Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets in the final match played on Sunday night. While bowling first, Gujarat stopped Rajasthan Royals for just 130 runs and then easily achieved this target later. After becoming the IPL champion, the players of Gujarat kept celebrating the victory on the field for a long time.

Orange Cap Winner
Rajasthan Royals wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler won a total of 6 awards. Butler's bat scored the highest 863 runs in this season. Due to his batting, the Rajasthan team reached the final. In the final match also, he played the biggest innings for his team, but due to lack of support from any other player, his team lost.
Purple Cap Winner
Rajasthan Royals key bowler Yuzvendra Chahal is the winner of the IPL 2022 Purple Cap. Chahal took a total of 27 wickets in 17 matches to top the leaderboard of the highest wicket-taker list. He also tops the list of - most wickets taken by spinners in an IPL season. Though Chahal was on top of the list most of the times, later in the tournament he was in a close contest with RCBs Wanindu Hasaranga for the Purple Cap.
