Watch Anushka Sharma lose her cool in IND vs PAK T20 World Cup Match

The India vs. Pakistan T20 World Cup 2024 match in New York on Sunday was an engaging encounter. It is rare to witness a team in Twenty20 Internationals effectively defend a 119-run target, but the Indian cricket team, captained by Rohit Sharma, did just that when they held Pakistan to 113/7 in 20 overs. India won by six runs thanks to the excellence of Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya, even though their top-order batsmen nearly gave Pakistan a victory.

Popular starlet Anushka Sharma, the wife of star Indian batter Virat Kohli, was in the stands. On Thursday, a video of the actor chatting animatedly to a spectator went viral on social media. Although NDTV is unable to verify its veracity, the footage is purportedly from the India vs. Pakistan game.

A VERY ANGRY Anushka Sharma was filmed during the India vs. Pakistan match. Unknown reasons.

After a run of poor performances in the T20 World Cup group stage, former India captain Sunil Gavaskar has downplayed the discussion over star batsman Virat Kohli's form. In the USA encounter on Wednesday, Saurabh Netravalkar removed Kohli for a golden duck after the batsman scored one run against Ireland and four against Pakistan, respectively. The 35-year-old entered the competition fresh off an IPL season in which he won the Orange Cap and amassed over 700 runs for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).

Gavaskar, nevertheless, asserted that there is no need for anxiety over Kohli's form. The legendary batter continued by saying that the veteran has to exercise some patience.

'Winning games is the main source of motivation for athletes, particularly those who represent their nation in competition. He has won several games and performed well for India throughout the years. I believe he is aware of that. The competition is only getting started at this point. There are the semi-finals, the final, and perhaps the Super 8. After the game, Gavaskar remarked on Star Sports, 'I think he has plenty of patience and faith in himself. All he needs to do is show those things.'
