Cartoon Crime reaches full release on Steam with two camera views in one open world

Istanbul, Türkiye: BuBa Games has released the full version of Cartoon Crime for Windows on Steam. The game left Early Access on November 3, 2026, following its Early Access debut on August 26.

Cartoon Crime is an open-world crime sandbox developed by a two-person independent team in Istanbul using its own C++/OpenGL engine. Players can switch instantly between third-person and classic top-down views while continuing to explore the same world.

Missions are optional. Players can follow the story or spend time driving, exploring, getting into police chases and recruiting bodyguards. Shops and other interiors can be entered, while bowling, billiards and arcade games provide activities away from the mission path. The game supports both single-player and online co-op.

The Steam page lists interface and subtitle support for 23 languages, including English, Turkish, French, German, Spanish, Arabic, Korean and Japanese. The US store lists the game at $2.99 as of November 4, 2026; prices vary by region.

For transparency, generative AI tools assisted with some pregenerated 2D elements, text editing/localisation and development tasks. The team reviews and edits the results. No AI content is generated during gameplay.
