New data has been received on the Sunday take of Amar Kaushik's most recent movie. According to a report on Sacnilk.com, the horror-comedy has made its second-highest single-day collection to date, estimated at ₹50 crore. Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor play the main roles.
According to the estimate, Stree 2 is expected to reach ₹184 crore within four days. On Sunday, the Hindi occupancy rate on Stree 2 was 70.41% overall, with Bengaluru topping the pack with an 84% attendance.
The Hindi movie, which was directed by Amar Kaushik, is a follow-up to the successful 2018 movie Stree, which launched Maddock Films' horror-comedy world.
On August 15, Independence Day, "Stree 2," which also stars Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana, debuted in theatres nationwide.
After three days, the production company said that the film's net domestic collection was ₹145.8 crore. "The box office's UNDISPUTED STREE! The message said on the banner's X page, "Thank you, audience, for making it happen."
In Stree 2, the main characters—who had previously unravelled the mystery behind the female ghost—are against a new foe named Sarkata, a ghost with just a head.
The movie is a part of the horror-comedy world created by producer Dinesh Vijan, which also included films like Munjya and Bhediya.
