Uttar Pradesh ADG Suvendra Kumar Bhagal, chairman of Cathedral Cathedral and editor Ramveer Singh will be awarded the President's medal. The government awards the President's Gallantry Medal and Gallantry Medal every year on the basis of commendable acts of bravery, especially in saving life and property from crime or arresting a person involved in crime.
This year the country is going to celebrate 78th Independence Day on Thursday. On Wednesday, a day before Independence Day, the government has announced to award President's Medal. This year, a total of 1037 personnel of police, fire brigade, home guard and civil security and correctional services will be awarded gallantry and service medals.
The government awards President's Medal for Gallantry and Medal for Gallantry every year on the basis of indomitable courageous act of bravery and conspicuous act of bravery in saving life and property, or preventing crime or arresting criminals respectively.
The Home Ministry has released the names of the people who will receive the medals. From Uttar Pradesh, ADG Suvendra Kumar Bhagal, DIG Kalpana Saxena, Inspector Sugandha Upadhyay and SI Ramveer Singh will be awarded the President's medal.
Let us tell you that all the preparations have been made for the program to be held in the capital Delhi on the occasion of Independence Day. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation by hoisting the tricolor for the 11th consecutive time from the historic Red Fort.
