BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) is set to introduce a brand-new character created specifically for its Indian audience. Kiaraa is KRAFTON India's latest original character and will officially arrive in the game on October 8, 2026.
Kiaraa is not being introduced as a regular character skin. Instead, KRAFTON India has built a complete in-game experience around her, featuring a new story, a dedicated location on Erangel, a special boss fight and an exclusive collection of rewards.
The character is part of the BGMI 4.6 update, which also brings several India-focused features and upcoming Diwali-themed content.
BGMI Kiaraa Release Date: New Character Arrives on October 8
The BGMI Kiaraa character will officially become available on October 8, 2026.
The BGMI 4.6 update started rolling out on September 16, 2026, but Kiaraa will be introduced separately at a later date. Players who have already installed the latest update will therefore have to wait until October 8 to experience her dedicated content.

Kiaraa Boss Fight: How to Trigger the New Erangel Battle
The Bazaar is also the starting point for the Kiaraa boss fight.
Players need to activate four peacock-shaped lamps positioned around the courtyard. Once all four lamps have been activated, Kiaraa will appear and the boss encounter will begin.
Players can then enter the Boss Fight Zone and battle Kiaraa with their squad. Defeating the boss will allow players to earn rewards connected to the event.
This makes the new Bazaar more than a visual addition, as players will have to interact with the location to unlock its main gameplay feature.

KRAFTON India is also launching the Kiaraa Nakshatra Collection, a dedicated set of cosmetics and items inspired by the new character.
