Profile:

Richa Ghosh is a premier wicketkeeper-batter for the India Women's National Cricket Team. Born on 28 September 2003 in Siliguri, West Bengal, she has rapidly built a reputation as one of the game's most dangerous middle-order power-hitters and finishers.

Influenced by her father, Manabendra Ghosh, who played club cricket, Richa debuted for the senior Bengal domestic team at just 14 years old. In early 2020, at the age of 16, she made her international debut as the only uncapped player in India's T20 World Cup squad. Since then, she has been a vital cog in historic victories, including India's 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup triumph, the U-19 T20 World Cup, and a Gold Medal at the 2022 Asian Games. In franchise cricket, she plays a starring role for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Women’s Premier League (WPL), helping them win their maiden title in 2024.
