The 28-year-old Aiden Markram recently made Sunrisers Eastern Cape the SA20 League champions under his captaincy. Fans were also demanding that Markram be made the captain for IPL 2023 and on Thursday the franchise approved it.
Will replace Kane Williamson
Aiden Markram will replace Kane Williamson as the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad. The performance of Sunrisers Hyderabad last season under the leadership of Kane Williamson was extremely poor.
