Young batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi is all set to feature in the upcoming ACC Rising Stars Asia Cup 2026 after being named in India's 15-member A squad. The tournament will see India-A take on arch-rivals Pakistan-A, with Tilak Varma appointed as captain and Rajat Patidar as vice-captain.
The 50-over tournament will provide Vaibhav with another opportunity to showcase his batting talent on the international stage. His inclusion has attracted attention, particularly as fans will be eager to see him perform against quality opposition, including Pakistan-A.
The selection also gives the young batter an opportunity to make a stronger impact after limited game time during India's recent five-match T20 series against New Zealand. Although he was part of the squad, Vaibhav featured in only two matches, scoring 49 runs at an average of 24.50 and an impressive strike rate of 181.48.
India-A will face Pakistan-A on November 22 at the West End Park International Stadium in Doha, Qatar. The highly anticipated encounter is expected to be one of the key attractions of the tournament.
