IND vs SA: Last chance for Sanju Samson in ODI
The Indian team has been announced for the South Africa tour. Surya Kumar Yadav has been made the captain in T-20. At the same time, Rohit Sharma was given rest in ODI. KL Rahul will be captain in his place. Wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson has returned to the ODI team, while Suryakumar Yadav has been dropped from the ODI team.
BCCI on Thursday announced Team India for the three-match ODI series for the South Africa tour. Wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson has once again returned to the ODI team. Sanju Samson was earlier seen playing on the West Indies tour in August 2023, but he disappointed in that series.

However, now his Team India is back again. It is believed that Sanju Samson has been given the last chance to prove himself on the Africa tour. However, he has not been given a place in the T-20 and Test team.

Suryakumar out of the team
At the same time, Suryakumar Yadav has been dropped from the ODI team. The selectors took such a decision considering his poor performance in ODIs. Surya has played 37 matches in ODI. During this period, 773 runs have been scored at an average of 25.8 and strike rate of 105. Surya was included in the team in the ODI World Cup.
Sanju Samson has scored 390 runs for India in 13 ODIs at an average of 55.71.
