Yashpal Sharma: The entire cricketing world mourns the death of 1983 World Cup winner
Yashpal Sharma, who made a special identity in Indian cricket and the hero of the 1983 World Cup 1983 World Cup, died of a heart attack on Tuesday.
He was 66 years old. He is survived by wife, two daughters and one son. After the death of the Indian cricketer, fans and former cricketers are paying emotional tribute to this great cricketer by tweeting.

At the same time, Information and Broadcasting Minister, Anurag Thakur expressed grief over the demise of former cricketer Yashpal Sharma and member of 1983 World Cup winning team.

Yashpal scored 1606 runs in 37 Test matches and 883 runs in 42 ODIs in his international career.
He was never out for a duck in his 40 innings of ODIs. He also took a wicket each in both the formats.
