Afghanistan's famous cricketer Naveen Ul Haq is once again in the news.
Afghanistan Cricket Board has given a big blow to Naveen Ul Haq, who made headlines due to his argument with Virat Kohli during IPL. The Afghanistan Cricket Board has banned Naveen ul Haq, Mujeeb ur Rehman and Fazalhaq Farooqui from playing for any franchise.
In fact, these three cricketers had demanded to keep themselves away from the annual central contract, so that they can play in franchise cricket competitions like IPL. But taking strict action on this, Afghanistan Cricket Board has not only stopped the annual contracts of these three players, but has also refused to give them NOC (No Objection Certificate) in case of their separation from the central contract for the next two years. Have given.
This means that these three players will not be able to play in any foreign league at present. Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has said in its statement that these three players have given priority to playing in the commercial league instead of accepting the central contract and they do not want to play for Afghanistan even though it is their national responsibility.
The board has also decided to take disciplinary action against these three players. The board had also constituted a committee to investigate the matter in depth. ACB had asked this committee to also tell how the interests of the cricket board should be given priority.
A member of this committee said, "These three players had formally asked the ACB to remove them from the central contract." In the recommendation made by this committee, it has been said that these players should not be given central contracts for one year from January 1, 2024. ACB can take a decision on this as per the need.
It has also been recommended that these three players should not be given NOC for the next two years. Accepting these recommendations, the Afghanistan Cricket Board has said that the main objective of the board is to give priority to playing on behalf of the national team. Also, all the players will have to accept this and put the national interest above their personal interest.
Naveen Ul Haq plays for Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL, while Farooqui plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Both the teams had decided to retain these two players. Whereas Kolkata Knight Riders had bought Mujeeb during the auction held recently. Due to this decision of Afghanistan Cricket Board, questions have been raised on the playing of these three in IPL.
If ACB does not give NOC to these three in time, then it will be difficult for them to play in IPL this time. These players play not only in IPL but also in many T-20 leagues of the world and this is a major source of their income.

According to him, "I don't usually do sledging. But even if I do, I do it while bowling because I am a bowler. But that day I didn't say a word to Kohli." However, during the ODI World Cup held in India this year, both the players met warmly and talked about forgetting the past.
