India and England will face each other in a five-match Test series starting on Thursday, January 25. India will be keen to continue the winning streak after defeating England 3-0 in the recent T20 series. The five-match Test series is expected to conclude on March 7 after matches in various venues in India - Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Rajkot, Ranchi and Dharamshala.
The last time England won the Test series in India was in 2012 under the captaincy of Alastair Cook. It has been 11 long seasons since the Indian team tasted a series defeat at home in Test cricket.
