In the high-scoring match of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 25 runs on Monday night. Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and chose bowling at Chinnaswamy Stadium. SRH scored 287 runs losing 3 wickets in 20 overs. RCB scored 262 runs losing 7 wickets in the second innings but failed to chase the target.

At the same time, in the second innings, RCB made the highest score in T-20 cricket. The team broke the record made by MI this season. Along with the runs, maximum number of fours were also hit in the match.

Sunrisers Hyderabad made the record of hitting most sixes in an IPL innings by hitting 22 sixes against RCB. The team broke the record of RCB. In the year 2013, the team had hit 21 sixes in the match against Pune Warriors. This record was also made in Bengaluru only.

SRH made the second highest score against RCB in professional T20 cricket. The team broke Afghanistan's record. In the year 2019, Afghanistan had made (278/3) against Ireland. In which SRH scored 277 runs and Mumbai scored 246 runs.

10. Longest six in IPL 2024

RCB batsman Dinesh Karthik hit a six of 108 meters. This is the biggest six of the season. Earlier in the same match, the biggest six was hit by Heinrich Klaasen. He had hit a six of 106 meters. Earlier, Nicholas Puran and Venkatesh Iyer have also hit sixes of 106 meters this season. Puran had hit this six against RCB on the ground of Bengaluru itself.
