Team India squads in T20 World Cup 2024: We are telling you the list of 26 players, out of which players could have been rotated for different T20 series but if there is not so much time, then everyone will be selected on the basis of IPL performance. Will be done. There are 4 openers among these 26 players. Five are middle-order batsmen, while five are finishers or rather all-rounders. Nine fast bowlers have also been included in this list. At the same time, there are three players as specialist spinners.
Rohit Sharma will lead Team India in the T20 World Cup 2024. The right-handed batsman performed brilliantly as captain in last year's ODI World Cup, where India reached the final. It is certain that Rohit Sharma will be an opener. The other three choices for openers will be Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shibman Gill and Rituraj Gaikwad. Jaiswal has performed brilliantly in recent times
In the middle-order, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, and Rinku Singh could be the three options. Kohli has returned to the T-20 team. Although he did not play any T20I games last year, his excellent form will continue in the shortest format as well.
Suryakumar Yadav is such a player that Team India cannot ignore in the shortest format of cricket. With 4 T20I centuries, he has impressed with his tactics in the 20-over format. After scoring runs in the death overs in the previous T20I series against South Africa and Australia, Rinku Singh has proved that he is the perfect finisher for Team India in T20Is.
Among all-rounders, Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya can be selected in the squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. But if Hardik's fitness is not good then Akshar Patel will be a part of the team. They will also strengthen both bowling and batting. Some Caribbean grounds support spinners and these two left-handed players will be useful in those conditions.
Fast bowlers will play an important role in West Indies during the T20 World Cup 2024. Swing and flat pitches help fast bowlers dominate the opposition on Caribbean soil. India are expected to have two fast bowlers for the T20 World Cup 2024. First Jasprit Bumrah and second Mohammed Siraj. The other two names will be Arshdeep Singh and Mukesh Kumar. While left-arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has consistently performed well in T20Is, Mukesh Kumar impressed in all three formats last year.
Ravi Bishnoi won the Player of the Series award in the T20 series against Australia in November last year and proved that he is a brilliant bowler in the shortest format. He has become a regular member of the T-20 team. Since his debut, the right-arm spinner has taken 34 wickets in 21 T20Is at an economy of 7.15.
