Cricket fans around the world are preparing for the most anticipated match of the year, when arch-rivals India and Pakistan meet on October 23 at Melbourne Cricket Ground in their Group 2, Super 12 match of the ongoing T20 World Cup. Because of the fierce competition, the match between the two teams has always been a great source of entertainment over the years. The Rohit Sharma-led side was defeated the last time the two teams met in the Asia Cup 2022. Apart from all the fanfare, there is one special person who is very excited for the clash between India and Pakistan, and that is Hollywood and WWE star The Rock.
In a video posted on Star Sports Twitter, the actor was seen expressing his excitement regarding the upcoming clash. He said, "When the greatest rivals collide, the world will stand still. This is more than a just a cricket match. It is time for India vs Pakistan."

Cricket fans were taken aback by Star Sports on Twitter. They released a promo for Sundays T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan, which featured a short clip of a very familiar face and voice that WWE wrestling and Hollywood fans are all too familiar with. It was none other than Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson of Hollywood.

Black Adam, starring Dwayne Johnson, will be released in India on October 20. The film is expected to take the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) to new heights, matching the level set by the Marvel Cinematic Universes Avengers and other films.
Meanwhile, The Rock is currently on a promotional tear after reacting to his possible return to WrestleMania 39 to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE title.
