During his innings, he reached number one in terms of scoring the most runs in T20 International cricket for India. Earlier, the record of scoring the most runs in T20 International cricket for India was recorded in the name of Virat Kohli. Not only this, Rohit Sharma has now become the first batsman in the world to score the most runs in the shortest format of cricket.

Broke Virat Kohlis record

Virat Kohli has so far scored 3296 runs for India in 89 innings of 97 matches at an average of 51.50, while Rohit Sharma has now overtaken him. Rohit Sharma has so far scored 3307 runs in 115 innings of 123 matches at an average of 33.07. KL Rahul is at number three in terms of scoring the most runs in T20 International cricket for India. KL Rahul has so far scored 1831 runs in 56 matches at an average of 40.68.
