India Tour of New Zealand 2026: Great news is emerging for cricket fans. The New Zealand Cricket Board has officially announced the Indian team's historic tour, scheduled to take place in 2026.
During this extensive tour, a total of 12 matches will be played between the two teams, comprising a lengthy series that includes five T20Is, five ODIs, and two Test matches.

This tour is set to be historic in several respects. For the first time in the history of cricket, India will tour New Zealand for a full-fledged, multi-format series. Furthermore, the two most significant highlights of this tour are:
- 7-Year Wait for a Test Series: The Indian cricket team will be playing a Test series on New Zealand soil for the first time in seven years. Prior to this, Team India last played a Test series there in 2019.
- First White-Ball Tour in 4 Years: This will mark the first instance since 2022 that India plays a limited-overs (ODI and T20) series in New Zealand.

This blockbuster tour will kick off on October 22 with the first T20 match, to be played in Christchurch. The first two T20 matches will be held at this very venue, after which the caravan will move on to Wellington, Auckland, and Hamilton. With the excitement of fast-paced cricket, the tour is expected to get off to a spectacular start.
IND vs NZ ODI Series Schedule & Key Venues (November 04 – November 15)

Immediately following the T20 series, a five-match ODI series will commence on November 4. The first match will be played in Auckland, while the final two decisive encounters will be held at the picturesque venue of Mount Maunganui. This series will be of immense significance to both teams with an eye on the 2027 ODI World Cup.
