When Suryakumar Yadav was out in the last over, Shubman Gill came on the pitch and added one run to his score of 79. Gill remained unbeaten till the end after scoring 80 runs. With this, India set a huge target of 398 runs for victory against New Zealand. For New Zealand, Tim Southee took three wickets while Trent Boult got one wicket.
