The Indian team will tour the West Indies after playing the T20 and ODI series against England (ENG vs IND) . In this tour, India has to play three ODIs and five T20 matches. In this tour, two senior players of Team India can be rested. It has not yet been decided who will be the two players who will be rested, but the senior players are almost certain to get rest.
The series, to be held from July 22 to August 7, will take place in the West Indies and the US grounds. The Indian team for the ODI and T20 series was to be announced soon, but it is being delayed. The Indian team has left for Southampton for the first T20 match against England, where the first match of the series is to be played. However, team captain Rohit Sharma is staying in Birmingham, where the second T20 match is to be played. VVS Laxman, who was appointed coach of the Indian team on the Ireland tour, is also with the team. He also coached the team in two practice matches, as Rahul Dravid was with the team playing the Test match.
