However, as per the forecast, now only light-moderate rain is expected over central parts of Bangalore between 4-8 pm. This means there may be a delay in starting the match. The toss will become even more important if it rains as the net run-rate equation will further complicate RCB's path forward. If RCB bats first then they will have to beat CSK by a margin of 18 runs or more at a target of more than 150.

There will be a possibility of rain in Bengaluru during the match and according to the Meteorological Department, there is a 50 percent chance of rain on Saturday evening. The weather in Bengaluru right now is cloudy with temperature around 30 degree Celsius with 59% humidity and 5.8 km/h wind speed. And visibility is 6 kilometers.
