The Indian team is going to tour Bangladesh this month. The Bangladesh women's cricket team has been announced for this 3-match series. Along with the leading fast bowler, the top-order batsman has not been included in the team.
Pacer Jahanara Alam and top-order batsman Fargana Haque have been dropped from the Bangladesh squad for the upcoming women's T20I series against India, starting July 9 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. Apart from Jahanara and Fargana, all-rounder Lata Mondal, left-arm pacer Fariha Trisna and left-arm batsman Rubia Haider were also dropped after being in the squad for the series against Sri Lanka in May.

The visiting Indian team, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, will arrive in Bangladesh on July 6. The three T20 matches between India and Bangladesh will start at 2 PM Dhaka time on July 9, 11 and 13. Significantly, Bangladesh is also the host of the 2024 Women's T20 World Cup.
After the conclusion of the T20I series, India and Bangladesh will play three ODIs at the same venue on 16, 19 and 22 July. The three ODI matches are part of the 2022–25 ICC Women's ODI Championship cycle, played between ten teams to determine qualification for the 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup, to be hosted by India.
