Nirmala Sitharaman said that the rupee remains stable in our economic situation against the yen and euro. Fluctuations are being seen not only in rupee but also in other currencies. Global uncertainty is increasing.
Global economic slowdown is a major reason for the decline in both the stock market and the Indian currency. Due to recession the Indian Rupee is falling and is unable to regain its value. Hence conversion from USD to INR always results in loss. The value of the rupee has always been depressing against the US dollar due to the global economic slowdown, which has led to sudden losses for some businessmen.
