Paris Olympics 2024: Indian women wrestler Vinesh Phogat returned to the country today after participating in the Paris Olympics, during which she was given a rousing welcome by fans outside the Delhi airport.

After coming out of Delhi airport, Vinesh was given a rousing welcome by the fans present there. When Vinesh was disqualified just before the gold medal match, the Indian Olympic Association had strongly objected. Regarding this matter, Vinesh had also appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sports to be given a shared silver medal, but on the evening of August 14, CAS rejected her petition.
When Vinesh Phogat returned to the country after participating in the Paris Olympics, she became emotional seeing her welcome and said that I want to thank all the countrymen and consider myself very lucky. On returning to the country, Vinesh has been welcomed like a champion.
