Lok Sabha Elections- An alliance has been announced between SP and Congress for the Lok Sabha elections in UP. Congress will contest 17 seats while all our allies will be given space on the remaining 63 seats.
In a joint press conference held in Lucknow, Congress' UP in-charge Avinash Pandey said that together we will fight to save democracy. Congress is continuously trying to connect the entire country. On this occasion, he specially mentioned Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi and said that we express our gratitude to her that it is due to her efforts that this alliance has come to fruition.
On this occasion, SP leader and national spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary said that we have come together to save India and remove BJP. Today farmers are worried. The soldiers are worried. Democracy is in danger. In such a situation, we have come together with a resolve to remove BJP. He said that the India alliance is capable of removing BJP from power. BJP has behaved exactly opposite to the promises it made. We are confident that this alliance will be successful in removing the injustice prevalent in the country.
Congress state president Ajay Rai, Congress UP in-charge Avinash Pandey, SP national spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary and SP state president Naresh Uttam Patel were present in the joint press conference.
