Team India Squad Update for T20 World Cup 2024
West Indies conditions are the basis of selection, not IPL: The overall performance of the names discussed in the meeting was seen, whereas the IPL performance was not discussed. Considering the slow pitch in West Indies, it is believed that some of the top scorers of IPL may miss out on a place in the team. According to media reports, in-form Sanju Samson and fast bowler Mohammad Siraj, who is not able to make an impact in the current season of IPL, will not get a place. But if we look at the conditions in West Indies, then both of them can get a place, while it is considered certain that Virat Kohli will play in the sixth T20 World Cup.
