The stock market had a great start today, BSE Sensex opened with a great jump of 400 points and NSE Nifty managed to open above 25 thousand.
The domestic stock market has started trading with a strong rally today. Global signals are strong and on the back of positive signals from the US markets, the Indian stock market has also opened with a great jump. All sectoral indices of Nifty are trading with gains and among them Auto, IT Metal, PSU Bank, Pharma and FMCG, Realty and Oil and Gas stocks are trading with gains.
Today, on Thursday, the domestic stock market has started with a great boom. The BSE Sensex started trading at 81,930 with a jump of 407.02 points or 0.50 percent. Apart from this, the NSE Nifty opened at 25,059 with a tremendous increase of 141.20 points or 0.57 percent.
In the major index of BSE, 23 stocks are showing strength in the beginning and 7 stocks are still strong. Out of 50 stocks of NSE Nifty, 43 stocks are showing rise and 7 stocks are seeing fall.
The market capitalization of BSE has come down to Rs 464.11 lakh crore, while yesterday it closed at Rs 463.49 lakh crore. On Tuesday, the market cap of shares listed on BSE was Rs 460.96 crore.
The pre-opening of the stock market showed signs of a great start to the market today and the BSE Sensex was at 81835.66 with a jump of 312.50 points or 0.38 percent. At the same time, the NSE Nifty was trading at 25036 with a gain of 117.70 points.
A rise can be seen in EV related shares in the Indian stock market today. On Wednesday, the central government has announced a subsidy of Rs 10,900 crore for EV electric vehicles. After this announcement, EV shares are expected to rise today.
The market capitalization of BSE has come down to Rs 464.11 lakh crore, while yesterday it closed at Rs 463.49 lakh crore. On Tuesday, the market cap of stocks listed on BSE was Rs 460.96 crore.
Talking about global markets, Dow Jones closed with a jump of 0.31 percent in the US markets yesterday. Nasdaq saw a rise of 2.13 percent while S&P500 closed with a gain of 1.07 percent. In the US markets yesterday, for the first time since October 2022, S&P and Nasdaq recovered the loss of 1.5 percent intraday.
