Ram Mandir: First glimpse of Lord Shri Ram seated in the sanctum sanctorum: The first picture of the idol of Lord Ram from inside the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple in Ayodhya has come to light. All the devotees are mesmerized after seeing the picture of their adored Lord Shri Ram. Let us tell you, a grand program of Pran Pratishtha of Ramlala is to be held in Ayodhya on 22 January. Today is the fourth day of the seven-day rituals before Pran Pratistha. The city of Ayodhya is ready to welcome its beloved Lord Shri Ram.

The 51-inch idol of Lord Rama is carved from 'Shyamal' (black) stone. It has been prepared by Mysore sculptor Arun Yogiraj. Yogiraj has depicted the Lord as a five-year-old child standing on a lotus. According to the information, due to the lotus and the halo, the weight of the idol is 150 kg, and its total height when measured from the ground is seven feet.

CM Yogi reached Ayodhya

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya and inspected the arrangements ahead of the Ram temple 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony on January 22. The Chief Minister offered prayers at Hanumangarhi temple. Chief Minister Yogi met Jagadguru Rambhadracharya.

Pran Pratishtha program will be telecast live on Doordarshan. It is expected that there will be a gathering of devotees in all the temples of the country at that time. Amid preparations for the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla's idol, Prime Minister Modi on Thursday released six special commemorative postage stamps dedicated to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Along with this, an album of the postage stamps related to Lord Shri Ram which were issued earlier in different countries of the world was also released.
