Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has achieved a new milestone, the star footballer recently launched his YouTube channel 'UR Cristiano' and broke the record by gaining 10 million subscribers in just one day.
Ronaldo broke a world record by becoming the first person to get one million subscribers within a few hours of starting his YouTube channel. Ronaldo shared the unboxing of the 'Golden Button' he received from the video-streaming platform on X.
The 39-year-old five-time Ballon d'Or winner, who currently plays for Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr, has 112.6 million followers on X, 170 million on Facebook and 636 million on Instagram. There are already 19 short videos posted on the channel, including one in which Ronaldo is seen unveiling the 'Gold Button' in front of his children. YouTube awards the 'Gold Button' to channels whose subscribers reach one million. Channels with 10 million subscribers get the coveted 'Diamond Button'. With 12.4 million subscribers, the 'Diamond Button' is also expected to join Ronaldo's cabinet soon.
Ronaldo surprised his children by giving them a golden button. His happy children can be seen jumping with joy after knowing about the button. Sharing the video on Instagram, Ronaldo wrote, 'A gift for my family. Thanks to all SIUUUSubscribers!'
The video, which has garnered over 25 million views, received several reactions and fans poured in to praise Ronaldo. Reacting to this, a fan wrote, 'His expressions are full of surprise and excitement.' Another fan commented, 'You deserve every moment of happiness yaar! Your discipline, work ethic, determination and mindset are out of this world.
