Società Sportiva Lazio, commonly known as SS Lazio or simply Lazio, is an Italian professional sports club based in Rome. It is primarily known for its football activities. Founded in 1900, the club competes in Serie A and has spent the majority of its history in the top tier of Italian football. Lazio became Italian champions in 1974 and 2000. They have won the Coppa Italia seven times and the Supercoppa Italiana five times. Additionally, they have won the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and the UEFA Super Cup once each. They also secured the Serie B title in the 1968–69 season. Lazio shares the Stadio Olimpico—which has a seating capacity of 70,634—with the club Roma.
