The Pakistan Cricket Board on Friday announced the schedule for the upcoming season of the Pakistan Super League. The 10th tournament of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will begin on April 11 with the first match being played between defending champions Islamabad United and two-time champions Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 matches, including two eliminators and the final on May 18. The confirmation of the PSL schedule means it will be held during the more lucrative and money-rich Indian Premier League (IPL). The IPL will be held from March 22 to May 25. 11 matches will be played in the PSL, including Qualifier 1 to be held at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on May 13. Five matches each will be played at Karachi's National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium. The final will be held at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium on May 18. 11 matches will be played in Rawalpindi, while 13 matches will be played in Lahore.
