He played age-group cricket for his region; in 2018, he represented Rawalpindi in the U13 Inter-Regional T20 tournament. Subsequently, while playing for the Northern team in the 2020-21 National U16 One-Day tournament, he claimed 12 wickets and scored 118 runs across six matches.

Saad rose to prominence in October 2022 while playing for the Gwadar Sharks in the Pakistan Junior League (PJL). He took five wickets for just six runs in a spell of only 15 deliveries. He became the first player in PJL history to achieve this feat, and his spectacular bowling performance caused the opposing team's batting lineup to crumble.
